Hi. I'm Holly, and I'm your not so typical teenage girl. I've taken up the hobby of hatching and raising assorted types of birds. Some may think they're smelly, but they're my life. <3 (I also can't smell anything.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I first started out with chickens in the 2nd grade, actually. My father bought me two little brown chicks from the feed store. Both ended up being Rhode Island Red roosters. However, they were both very sweet, and allowed me to carry them like dolls despite having long spurs.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have three.
(3) What breeds do you have?
A Golden Sebright rooster, Light Brahma hen, Ameraucana chick
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Internet. I've looked up some problems my goose was having, and founds some topics here.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I don't really do much. I tend to write sometimes, but that's about it. Collecting all the Pokemon counts... right?
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Umm. I have quite a few others animals normal people wouldn't consider pets. I have a Chinese Goose, that I'm going to use a an emotional support animal once he's full grown. I also have a Khaki Campbell duck. I have a few Cockatiel eggs in the incubator right now, if that counts. The parents have had around four clutches so far, and they just continue to break the eggs before the poor things even have a chance. I also have 10 refrigerated chicken eggs in the incubator, so fingers crossed I'll at least get one chick. I know they've been around a rooster, so wish me luck~
