Hey guys,

I'm a 21year old genetics student who has an obsession with birds and small mammals.
I've always wanted to have a few chickens and now I'm in a place that I can start looking.
I've had button quail before and I tried to hatch some of their eggs in one of those tiny yellow, tinfoily incubators but it never worked.
Maybe a new one and some extra luck will work this time.
I'm just lurking around and sponging up information.
I also breed fancy mice as a hobby, Natal rats too.

So where are you at in Maryland? I'm in North East in Cecil County up near Pennsylvania and Delaware. We're hatching our first chicks this weekend. Had lots of chickens as a child growing up in Wisconsin.
