Hello everyone,
Just began my chicken flock yesterday and am excited to have found this site! I have 12 little chicks so far and am getting them strong and big to be moved to our farm in North Dakota. I have 5 children who are more excited about the chicks than the puppy they got recently!
We live in a neighborhood in Fort Worth, TX complete with a homeowner's association who send me a letter if I don't edge around my sidewalk! 
We recently bought a farm in North Dakota to enjoy and hopefully relocate to ASAP. For now I have to be content with enjoying the little chicks in the house until we take them to their new home at the beginning of June. My babies are 8 days old and quite happy in their tote. I plan to move them to a larger space when I find the perfect one. I have been looking online today and thats how I came upon this fantastic site with tons of useful info!
I'd love to chat with anyone who wants to talk about chickens, kids, dogs, cats, cows or buffalo! Have a great day!
