Got 4 red pullets and 2 Silver-laced Wyandottes last week and brought home six black Australorps today...I'm new to raising chickens but am in love with them already. Can't believe how fast the ones I got last week have grown already - they're three times the size of the 6 I brought home today (the size they were just a week ago). The Silver-laced Wyandottes and the Australorps were straight-run - sure hope I don't end up with 8 roos!! Anyone have info when I'll be able to tell?
