Hi my name is Emma I have 4 hens in big coop my husband make as he’s a joiner so very handy to have around . But new to having chickens had them now for around 6 months loving having them they got some characte.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. When I was pregnant in 1985, my Ob said I was going to have a girl. I planned to name her Emma and if there were twins (I hoped) the other would be Elena.

Surprise, I had a son instead. But he is a really good one and engaged to a lovely woman - maybe they will have a daughter

I also started with four chickens. Today: 19 hens, a rooster, 11 ducks and two geese. How very lucky you are to have someone who can help if (and very likely, when,) you decide to add more birds.
