hi there! new from SO California

Hi there!
I am so so so glad I found this forum! I needed a good place to " chat chicken" with others. I live in Southern California with my girls and husband and various pets. We have two silkies (one was grand champion at the Orange County fair last year) two brown red modern games, one crele old english, two porcelian belgian bearded d'uccles, one black modern game, one buff minorca, one golden laced cochin, three silver phoenix roosters, and two white turkeys. I love my chickens! I can't wait to visit with you chicken people. I am also looking for good breeders here in California.

I'm in No Ca too. Up in Auburn, but my SIL and family lives down in Alta Dena. So CA is like a foreign country to me with all the towns down there, so I'm not sure if that is close to you...

You will love it here with all the friendly people and great advice!

I am in So Cal also but new to chickens. I am just waiting for mine to get old enough to lay eggs. I just wish we were out in the country so that I could have space for more chickens.
