Been in the chicken game pretty much my whole 35 years in some form or fashion. I have had my own flock for 6 years.
I currently have 43 chickens, 30 adults and 13 that we added this year. All sorts of breeds. My favorite breeds would be my blue laced red wyandottes, chocolate orpingtons, and my ameraucanas. I also have a flock of 12 ducks. While I love my chickens, I have found that in some ways I love my ducks even more! I have pekin/buff mixes, a Rouen, a khaki Campbell, 2 cyugas, and 2 runners.
I’ve been a long time lurker of BYC, essentially since I started my flock. I’ve already gained so much knowledge and look forward to growing more here!
