I live in Southwest La, known as Cajun Country! We love to dance and eat some good Cajun Food, gumbo and etouffee, just to name a few! I've just retired after teaching 30 yrs with K-5th Grade. I have never raised chickens, but my husband had them in his family when he was little. I like just about every animal and thought this might be something to try. Pinterest has been great and so helpful. We have 8 young chickens ready to be put in their new coop. I'm glad I found this website, it will be so helpful!
