Hello, my name is Elly.

I live on the east coast of Australia, with my three daughters, one Pomeranian, three Muscovies, and a motley flock thus; Bertha the Bossy - Plymouth Rock and head chicken, unlikely 2IC Hazel - partridge Pekin bantam, RIR sisters Billina and Bess, darling Henny Penny - Light Sussex and layer extraordinaire, cuddly Chicken Little - black pekin lap chicken, and Flufferella, excruciatingly shy but spectacularly cute white Silkie.

I am new to poultry, becoming a chicken mother a couple of months ago, and a duck mother a few months before that. I have been reading the forums here for quite a while, learning as much as I can, and look forward to picking your brains about all the weird and wonderful behaviours of my lovely girls. Thanks for having me!
