Our family has a mixture of silkies, d'uccle mille de fleurs, bantam cochins, brown leghorns, white leghorns, sussex, and one Rhode Island Red on the way! We have chickens for fun and for eggs. It is nice to have a support group if a problem arises with one of our chickadees! My 5 children keep me from being the crazy chicken lady! If not for my responsibilities of home and family, I'd probably be out in the coop with our chickens all the time!
