I'm very sorry to hear about your first flock being decimated by strays, that must have been awful.

Chicken math is the only kind I've ever been good at I never took turkey trigonometry or goose geometry but I'll get there one day. Done a fair share of animal algebra though

I keep my flock behind electrified poultry netting powered with a 10,000 volt charger. I've never had a ground predator loss since installing that fence nearly 4 years ago.
