hi there :)

Thank you all for your warm greetings and to Michael, I have two wyandottes, an amerucana, an orpington, a Rhode island red, and I can't remember what the last one is but its gray and white striped. I also have a Rhode island red rooster, a black bantam cochin rooster, and a nankin rooster

You're welcome. Your last one sounds like it might be a Barred Rock. I've had all of those breeds and you have a nice mix of good, dependable layers. I love the friendly and gentle personality of Orpingtons. My children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of ours. The Ameraucanas (actually ours are Easter Eggers as true Ameraucanas are rare and lay only blue eggs) are my granddaughter's (pictured in my avatar) favorite chickens. She loves the different colored eggs that they lay. If you would like to confirm the identity of that striped bird, post a picture and we can probably ID it for you. Good luck with your flock.

Yeah it is a barred rock, the name of the breed just escaped my mind. And actually my amerucana-looking chicken only lays blue eggs
