Yeslah here. Been raising chickens for a while. Got six at the present on a small lot. I'm entirely surrounded by a parking lot but still got my chickens. New Hampshire Reds, fitting as I am in New Hampshire.

Is your chicken lot fenced off and covered, so they can't fly out and be injured or killed by cars? You wouldn't want passers-by to injure or take them either.

Yep the backyard is completely fenced in courtesy
of the city. They built the fence to my land ladys specs as a buffer zone. Community center next door. Got a few requests for eggs from some of the patrons and an offer on Rueben my Rooster.
