I don't want a cockerel this time round - used to have one and he woke everyone up at the crack of dawn!!! The neighbours were not at all happy!!!

Our neighbours aren't exactly keen on ours either for the same reason, but I prefer him to my phone alarm.

I was only saying as I never knew how exciting breeding your own chickens would be till now!​

Welcome from a wet, windy and dark mid Wales (not very far from Worcestershire).

I have far too many chickens (probably about 60, but refuse to count as hubby would want to reduce the number).....Brahmas, Naked Necks, La Flèche and some odd assortment of mutts and strays.

You will find the forum VERY helpful.
