WELCOME TO BYC FROM LOUISIANA!!! I have 2 kids - an 8 yr old boy & a 5 yr old girl that LOVE their chickens too! We have some Silkies & some other kinds of chickens too. The kids have never gotten on here before, but I'll see if they want to come online & visit. Laverne is SOOOOO ADORABLE!!! Where on earth did you get such a lovely bird? She is so cute. Maybe she can have a ponytail this summer like this bird!

La_tomboygirl I hope your children do get on here! I'm Bruce's mom (Amber) and he is pestering me for more kids that love chickens! There aren't many of us in this area, and hes been told its "weird" very sad
