Hi y’all,
Thank you for allowing me to join your group. I’m Leslie and I have only had chickens for 5 years. Last year I was injured on the farm and was unable to walk for almost 6 months. I almost lost my right foot. In that time my flock went from 23 down to 11. Most were lost to red tail hawk while they were free ranging. Currently we have 3 Bard Rocks, 3 Rhode Island Red, 3 Isa Browns, 1 Black Astralop and 1 Leg Horn and of which range in age between 5 and 3 years old. Covin19 hit and when I went to get chicks this year I bought 4 Black orientals, 4 Easter Eggers, and 6 Black Astralops (straight run) as I am trying to build my flock back up.

I lived outside of Louisville, KY for 7 years. Where about are you located?
20 years ago, I got to move back home to the Florida Space Coast but, enjoyed my time living in Ky.
