1. I first got chickens about 3 years ago. I've been researching and studying them since.
2/3. I have 4 chickens right now- an Ameracauna, 2 Silkie Bantams, and a Colombian Wyandotte.
4. My favorite aspect of raising chickens are that you can always learn something new from books, websites like this, and especially chicken keepers. And that the more you learn about chickens, the more you can do with them! Mine love to hang out on our porch swing-- we're even trying to get them to go in an old kids' playhouse we moved into their run.
5. Some of my other hobbies are art, music, and swimming.
