Good morning y'all from the Georgia mountains. I moved here 6 years ago from Michigan to live with my bf.
My 3 kids are all adults now, and so are his 3.
Since I moved to Michigan's upper peninsula, right after I had my first child , back in 1991. I have wanted guinea fowl. But, it just never happened.
However, my kids, which also means me, had many the pet/animal. Lol. Dogs, cats, fish, hermit crabs, chameleons, tree frogs, parrots, ball python, tarantula, iguanas, bunnies, gerbils, giant millipede.
Jump forward 29 years, divorced twice, 3 children, a move to GA, and a wonderful man that thinks I should have whatever I want, if at all possible. And you find me living in beautiful Dahlonega, GA , an acre of land and lots of room around us. Sooooooo, I have now added to our family! Three Rhode island red chicks, one Dominique chick, and 6 Guinea keets ( 2 cinnamon, 1 bronze, 1 white, 1 buff , 1 Lavender)
🥳 I'm so excited! We've had them since mid June and it has been quite the experience. ❤
We just got a 10x12 wood shed to convert into a large coop and fence in an area for them to move to soon. The plan is to let them free range during the day once they are adults.

I tell ya, Tupac, my Dominique , is something else. Lol. The first to check anything out, try anything out. First out the door. She is a trip!
The guineas are fun to watch. They are slowly getting to trust me enough to come up close when I toss treats. But scatter quick. I am hoping that will change once we move them into the shed, where I can interact better with them, without worrying about losing one. It's too hard to do that with this coop.
You should, for sure, get guinea. Even if just two. They will hang with your chickens.
I got mine from Flint River Guinea
She is great! She will ship if you want a large amount. Or you can pick up with no limit. Pretty sure she has some now.

Love the name! I have yet to meet a chicken named Tupac 💜
