Hello Hello!
My name is Sherri and my family just acquired 6 chicks today!
BYC has been an immeasurably valuable resource for us over the past few months as we were researching the idea of raising chickens! Thank you all so much for all the information and answers you've ALREADY provided for us!
We are looking forward to this experience and to learning much more about raising & keeping chickens...
Just thought I'd share this quick picture of the kids today after we got back home with the chicks:
From left to right: Sammi (11) w/"Zoe" ~ Lawrie (8) w/"Happy" ~ Ellie (4) w/"Elsa" ~ Emme (3) w/"Anna"
(Any guesses as to what my little girls' favorite movie is??? ;-)
They let me and my husband have the privilege of naming the other two, not pictured here, so we called them "Lilly" and "Rose."
