Hi y'all!
I am excited to be part of the BackYardChickens Family! I bought my baby chicks in september from Kahoots. Two Americana's, two Barred Rocks, and a buff Cochin. They slept in our lap for hours while we were watching tv. It was adorable. They met our doggie, and became best friends. Gradually, they moved into their new home, a cute wooden coop with a covered run. I Love watching them. I made another run out of pvc so they can have a field trip to our grass in the backyard. Now my only issue is.... two of the chicks turned out to be roosters. I will have to get rid of at least one of them, but is breaks my heart. If only I new where to find a good home for Goldie, our gorgeous buff Cochin. Rooster, anyone??
