Just joined. I do not have any chickens but have become interested in the topic during a visit with some friends who have been raising chickens for about a year. I have absolutely no experience in this area. However, I want to learn more and perhaps in the near future will take the first step in raising some backyard chickens.

welcome! we just started in March with Australorp eggs from our local hatchery. It has been a very good experience for us and our three grandsons. Hope you come to enjoy it too.
 
Glad you joined the BYC flock. You may want to check out your state thread for other chicken folks in your area. Plenty of great mentors out there, eager to help newbies.
