Thank you all for the welcome . Sadly we've had our first heartbreak and my chickies weren't even with us yet! Got word yesterday that the sweet silkie hen we were getting was killed by a dog yesterday morning . She was probably going to be a house chicken my girls (and I) were totally in love with her . I know you shouldn't count your chickens before they hatch (or move in), but we're devastated
