Hi, everyone! I'm a chicken addict, and I'm looking to add to my family. (Not really an addict, I have six outdoor chickens--a dud rooster, and four hens that I love and adore to pieces.) I'm looking to add a new member of the family to replace my Elizabeth Hennet who recently passed away.

Does anyone know of a Kansas breeder who may have a bantam Ameraucana chicks right now?

I'd love to find some under seven weeks old--the younger the better. My color of choice, if you have it, would be splash.

Any help would be appreciated. If you have a bantam Ameraucana chick I can adopt and you're in Kansas, please let me know. The closer the better, but I'm willing to travel, if necessary. The closest one listed on the Ameraucana website is three and a half hours away.

Try asking on the KS state thread, someone there will probably know where you could find the birds you're looking for:

It's for things like looking for breeders that makes the state threads so convenient.

Good luck to you, thanks for joining us!

Thank you! I'm still very new and finding my way around.

I thought I had thanked you before, but my reply didn't post successfully. Sorry about that! Didn't mean to not thank you properly.

No worries, you're welcome! I remember being new and stumbling around the tabs and forums trying to find things. One of the best tips? Use the Search bar. I can't think of anything you won't find that way (or at least get close to).
