Hi everyone, I've been lurking around this website since getting my 4 ISA brown hens in October last year and have really appreciated all the excellent advice people give. It's been an invaluable tool for setting up for my chooks since I've never kept them before. I've already posted my first question about one of my hens not laying so if you come across it, I'd love some advice!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining.) Isa Brown is one of a number of labels under which some hatcheries market their Red Sex Links. They are laying machines that will churn out more than 300 large brown eggs per hen per year. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.

I have 3 red sex link girls in my mixed flock and really enjoy them, they are such curious busy birds. Hope you are enjoying yours too and all is ok with the one you have a question about.

Thanks for joining us!
