I am a new member however, I have lurked for some time already. I have read many articles and topic links that have been very helpful. I find many of the answers to my questions here. I have 4 grown sex links, a rooster and 3 hens. I have 6 young chicks, 4 sex links and 2 Delaware's. All the chicks are pullets. I have never had Delaware's before because I have never raised a chicks. I usually take in unwanted chickens after Easter, when the owner realizes the bigger the bird the bigger the poop, or other situations but I have had to slow that down a bunch. I just had my old flock of 4 (was a rescue flock) for a long while and thought it needed a new generation. The advice here has helped.
