Hi everybody!. Although I have been reading the awesome advices and ideas to raise backyard chickens for a while I just joined the site.
My family and I have a black Polish frizzle hen. Her name is Onix, she is the sweetest hen ever!!, my partner and I call her coco...lol.
Unfortunately, we just moved to a place that does not have a backyard and we can not take her with us. We are in the west Madison area in Wisconsin.
We are looking for a family that is willing to adopt her as a pet and not for butchering please! or that would be willing to foster her for 2 years, I know that is a long fostering time but we really really love her and if possible we won't want to give her away!
Does anybody has any ideas of how we could find a good family for her?
Thank you very much!. Any feedback is highly appreciated.

You might try posting in the re-homing forum here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/16182/animals-in-need-of-free-re-homing
Hope you find a taker!

Welcome! I am fairly new here myself. I am just starting out with chickens just eggs in the bator right now. My sweet dog's name is Onyx. I wish I could take your hen Onix, I would even foster until your circumstances change and you could have her again. BUT I am in North Carolina
