hi im lee and i have 2 female pekins.im new to birds period.im new to sharing with byc but ive been using it since last march and finding advice i needed already posted but i have reached a quagmire that i could not find a good simple answer to,whether it be due to my own incompetence in searching or whether its due to the fact that someone hasnt asked this question yet.lol.

at any rate,im lee,im 45m and i got my pekins in late march at a TSC sale as an early easter gift for my 10yr old daughter and 5yr old granddaughter.

thank u all but unfortunately theyre into two russian flop ear rabbits our neihbor wanted rid of so the duck stories will be limited mainly to my experiences as i have found they have more personality than a dog and theyre dang sure more friendly than cats and ive just fallen in love with the crazy birds.

one of them just loves to be petted and have her back scratched and she gets real low to the ground with her neck stretched out almost flat to the ground also and sticks her tail feathers up in the air and holds her wings out slightly and makes this funny little sound almost like a coo.lol.and the other female sometimes gets so mad she bites me pretty doggone hard.lol

The one who gets low to the ground with her tail feathers up, really likes you. As that is the mating position. LOL
