LICE??? I didt know that!! How do you know if they have it?? How do you treat it??

Well you can treat it with red lake earth stuff hot water bath or frontline and it can NOT spread to humans so your safe

You can check their wings in between there legs heads and legs and feet and yo can treat mites with Vaseline on there foot scales all the way up there legs

Hello glad to have you join us! When my chickens had red mites they lost a lot of hair around their necks. What you can do is completely clean out their coop and put fresh bedding in. You should also put special powder on each individual chicken. you could start a new thread about how to get rid of mites. I don't know what kind of powder to put on them but I'm pretty sure there are other chicken experts out there that do!
