Oh goodness I was worried about that.

Okay I'm fairly certain it's against the rules to sell any living creature on eBay. Hatching eggs are a loophole.

I would like to know what the listing said to make you think you would be receiving day old chicks.

Are these going to be your first chickens? I forget if you answered this before. Sorry if you did.

At this point if you want these eggs to hatch you need to buy an incubator and incubate them for 21 days until they hatch or get on your state thread and ask if someone can try incubating them for you. What state are you in?

Hatching eggs are always a risk, especially shipped because you don't know for sure how honest the seller was about the age of the eggs, how they were handled in shipping etc.

They may or may not hatch.

:frowHello Min and :welcome

As Chickendreams said you might find someone near you who is happy to hatch them for you either in an incubator or under a broody. Alternatively you might Google "incubator hire". Here in UK theres a few local places that offer incubator hire for schools and individuals. Or you might try your luck with a cheap Chinese imported incubator on ebay, although how much luck you will have with those I don't know. Whatever you decide, try to incubate those eggs as soon as possible as the viability of the eggs drops dramatically after two weeks. Good luck :thumbsup
