New to the BYC group. We live in Southeast Georgia on a pecan farm. I’m married to a LEO and we have 4 kids. We as a married couple are first time chicken owners but I grew up having chickens and ducks. We just started off buying 40 baby chicks. Can’t wait for them to start growing.

Just about every breed there is.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Teaching my kids about them, and raising them. Their personality’s are the greatest.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Church, farming, gardening, crafting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I’m a SAHM, my husband is a LEO and we have 4 kids (3boys, 1 girl) we have 5 cats, two dog and fingers crossed my husband allows me some goats pretty soon.
