I had 10 chickens over 6 years ago, but ended up giving them away after my daughter was born. I'm happy to say I've got a new flock now!

Barred Andalusian mix rooster
Wyandotte mix rooster
Dominiques - 5
Ameraucana - 2
ISA Browns - 2
Golden & Silver Laced Wyandottes - 2
White Leghorn - 1
Jersey Giants - 2
Ayam Cemani/Orpington mix - 1
Aaaand an unknown bantam hen

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Watching them forage and cluck

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Beekeeping, gardening, sewing, soapmaking

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Currently living in a camper on 10 acres while we plan our house-build

Sounds interesting. I've lived in many an unfinished house while I flipped it. Had to wash dishes in the front yard with a hose! But never lived in a camper while working on a home build.

It's been a life changing experience. Living in close quarters really makes you examine what is important. Namely, a bathtub. But seriously, ditching TV and having quality family time is worth it. Also, the chickens...
