Hi to you all. I've lurked on BYC for a little while but have inevitably joined once I needed help!! I'm the first in a good few generations to own chickens so no one knows anything (except my mum who just knows how to strip and cook them!)
I have a lovley group of 5 and have 3 incubated chicks atm one just hatched this morning and not sure if the others will make it. All a very steep learning curve!!

Yes I must admit I love having them!!! And to be fair I have the room, just took some space away from the children!!
