Hi! I guess I’m gonna introduce myself!?
Well, I have a relatively small flock with 14 chickens(counting 1rooster),2 male and female guineas, 2 (a male and a female) turkeys, and I used to have two peafowl(a male and female) but they both sadly passed. We also breed Show boer goats for FFA/4H and boer/lamancha crosses. We actually have 3 doe lamanchas for sale at the moment.
We have a beautiful blue heeled named Trixie, who is an AMAZING guardian dog.
Only had 1 chicken loss in almost 3 uears(knock on wood) and almost had a possum get some but the guineas warned us in time. The same guineas whom I cannot convince to stay in the fence. Lol. Will be hatching chicks in the spring . I feel like I have been pretty lucky so far and have enjoyed my animals! And I’m glad to be on this website and sad I didn’t know about it sooner.
