Hi! Im a 36 year-old mother of 3. I had chickens when I was a child, and my husband and I decided we wanted to start a flock of our own now that our children are old enough to help and understand what it takes 
. We have 12 chicks currently, 2 weeks old. 6 of them are Light Brahamas, and 6 are Bantams. Came here to communicate with liked minded folks, and remind myself of things I may have forgotten from my youth experience of raising chickens.
