I'm Lisa, I live in Aberystwyth, West Wales with my husband and 4 children. We currently have no birds. Although I am in the process of incubating one Welsh Harlequin Duck egg. It was my first attempt and it hasn't gone well. I plan on doing another clutch ASAP. If this one hatches it will need company.!

Also buying some chooks hopefully next month. We have had hens before. All red and white Sussex girls. Also had call ducks.

Looking forward to getting to know like minded folk and getting advice on hatching eggs.

Thank you Issac. Have you any advice on hatching ducks? It's day 35 and the shell cracked on the end 48 hrs ago. No signs of movement anymore. Just not sure it's likely to be dead now.

This is a WH? Correct? They should have hatched on day 28, I'm sorry to say, but if its day 35 it's definitely passed .

No worries, happens more often than not around here.

Ahhh okay. It was moving still on day 33. I was expecting it to hatch on day 29, Then read it could go to day 35. But I'm guessing it's gone now as movement stopped 48 hours ago.
