I live on a small acerge in eastern missouri. We have vegetable gardens, berries and an orchard. We also have a few horses and quite a few chickens. We have a flock of double laced golden Barnevelders. We also raise American gamefowl bantams, Old English game bantams and Dutch bantams. I am always trying to improve our flocks and keep our chickens as close to SOP standards as possible. I also like to do breeding projects. To see how different traits transfer. It is fun to see if what I predict will transfer to the next generation actually does.
