(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I was born on a chicken farm but we moved when I was pretty young so I vaguely remember it. I just started my own flock about a month ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 3 with plans for 3-4 more
(3) What breeds do you have? barred rock, buff orpington, want to try other breeds as well!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? they're so fun to talk to, you can have whole conversations with them!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? music, writing novels, and gaming
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have 6 kids and a husband, 3 dogs, 1 rabbit, and I'm a professional violinist
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I read a lot of posts while prepping for my new chickens and I'd like to be able to join the conversation now!
