Hello! I finally signed up for an account. I recently got 4 little girls, who are now nearing the 20 week mark - 2 wyandottes (1 SL and 1 GL), a brahma, and a rhode island red. I have been using BackYard Chickens for a while now, just to check things, and I finally decided to register! This lot are my first flock, and I love them to pieces, but they are definitely not the last!
My favourite aspect (besides the prospect of fresh eggs everyday) is how friendly all our little ladies are, and even though they probably just want food, I love the sight of them running full pelt towards me when I step out the back door. Our girls stay in the run for the morning, and then we let them out around 1 to free range, which they absolutely love!
