(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, fairly. May 2022.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
About 20.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Easter Eggers, Lavender Orpington, Silkie, Bantam, Ayam Cemani, and some TSC surprises.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Good question, I like watching my kids with them.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Photography, hiking, homeschool related things.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have a couple dogs, a couple cats, some guinea foul and four ducks. Oh and 5 ducklings, probably more animals to come.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
It came up when I googled for help when I was having trouble with our keets. I need help with something I couldn’t find a discussion post for already.
