Hi!

I am in the U.K.! West Worcestershire 😁 How about you?

Mine have been known to be a little mischievous at shearing time, especially the Dartmoors!
I‘m up in East Yorkshire! Not sure what breed these are? They were a friend of friends that were already in the field when the two old boys went in the field so I’ve taken them under my wing as such. Mr sheep just bolted yesterday and barged the gate wide open as the shearer got the first one out of the shelter. Him and my old horse are thick as thieves!! Eventually managed to catch him but it was a bit warm yesterday trying to hang on to a crazed sheep!

Hi Sarah, welcome to BYC! You had my rapt attention at your second sentence. I've wanted to adopt ex-batts for many years now, but it's sadly nearly impossible in the U.S. unless one knows someone directly connected to a layer farm. Thank you for allowing those ex-batts you adopted to know the life of a content and cared-for chicken. And I love the picture of Cluck Norris; he looks well-suited for the role of Walker, Texas Ranger!😄

They’re fine looking boys! I think they’re probably cross breeds though, it can be hard to tell with mules what they’ve got in them! They look well fed, are they nicking the horse’s food?! It was quite warm yesterday though, so I don’t envy you that. We were moving an IBC with faulty pallet forks so that was fun and not terrifying or dangerous at all!
