Hello! I have had chickens for a year or so. Still figuring stuff out but love my flock! But I have a question. What do you do to prevent mites and lice on your chickens?

You should just provide a good area for them to dust bathe in and check them monthly for external parasites.

Yes, definitely lots of dust bathing opportunities keeps the skin clean and bugs off. If they free range they will find a place to bath in your garden, under a tree or some dirty spot. If your birds are kept in a run for much of the time, old tires filled with dirt, planters, even a section of the run with lots of loose dirt will work. Oh and keep the coop clean too, helps prevent bugs from being interested in hanging out.
