Hello, and welcome to BYC. Your old rooster is doing the right thing in making the cockerels behave. Eventually that many will become a problem for the flock.
Work on a 'Plan B' for them.

I have a plan b for them I'm keeping my older rooster and 1 of the new roosters the other 3 are going to a bachelor pad a friend of mine has they use the roo's for weed and bug control lol
