Hi!
We aren’t new to chickens, but just got back into it after about a decade away. Over the last two months, we’ve acquired about 60 chickens (RIR, barred rock, Cream Legbar, Olive Evers, Blue Americana, and some bym eggs that I hatched out last month), 4 turkeys, 7 Embden geese, and 36 guineas. We’re obviously a little excited to be back in a place to have poultry again! lol
I’m excited to be a part of this community and I look forward to learning from everyone here!

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! We're glad you're here, and I'm glad I'm not your neighbor! The farm across the road has only about 6 guineas and that's enough for me!

Yes! We’ve got all the ticks they can eat this year, though!
All but 6 are still in the brooder, but I have a feeling that it’s going to be very noisy here shortly. lol Thankfully we are out on a more secluded property without any neighbors for a decent distance.
