Hi!

Thank you everyone for the comments and the requests for photos of the girls! I don’t have a lot of photos right now. Our first girls were our Rhode Island Reds. One of them is in my profile picture. The Ameraucanas, Blue Copper Marans, and Cream Legbar are all new additions to our flock and still very skittish and not interested in getting their photos taken. We’re working on that! Here are our Ameraucanas. (We were told they are Ameraucanas, anyway. I certainly could not distinguish an Ameraucana from an Easter Egger.) Cayenne is on the left and Pepper is on the right. Enjoy!

Cute! Food is a huge motivator, daily sit down on the ground on their level with a bag of treats and sprinkle some around you. Start holding it in your hands once they get more comfortable. Eventually they may get on your lap. Always move quietly and slowly around them, they should eventually come around. 😊

Thank you for the tips!
