Thanks everyone for the kind words and suggestions. I'm so glad to have someone to talk to who really cares! Some friends and family don't understand why I'm so upset about losing my birds but they don't raise them so I guess they wouldn't really understand. Thanks again!

from Alabama. So sorry about your losses. All of our male guineas roam free & some of our chickens & ducks too in the daytime. Thankfully we haven't really had any real problems with hawkes. We do have cds hung in some trees to help with them & netting on top of our pens. And we just got through building a new larger pen for some of them to use.

Sorry you lost your birds. I myself am not familiar with quineas either. But making your chickens run area larger should be just fine. I do know that quineas fly pretty well, that much I know! Best of luck.
