Hey there...
I read the forums all the time and finally decided to join.
I live in Florida and have 18 assorted chickens around 8 months old and 38 eggs in the incubator going on day 4. I originally had 32 chickens and a handful of ducks but those fell prey to the local bobcats: a constant battle.
