With only three young ones, they should tame up really quickly if you work with them every day, even if just for 10 minutes at a sitting. Meal worms (from pet stores or fish shops) are GREAT treats that can win over almost any chicken!! Just a few a day and I bet they'll be jumping in your lap for them within a week...
