I wouldn't mind eating a rooster if somebody else killed it and cleaned it, but I know I couldn't do it myself. If there is only one, we might consider keeping it. I have friend who kill their chickens but they don't live very near by. Also my friend cut her finger and ended up in the emergency room once. She didn't need to get stitches in her finger though. Last time I saw her she said she hadn't tried to kill a chicken since.
