I have had 3 chickens and 2 roosters for two weeks now. Out of the blue we were gifted them because the previous owner was not able to keep them. This after talking about getting chickens someday and saying how neat it would be to have a few. Ask and you shall receive! I've looked up as much information as possible but most of my experience has been trial and error lol. Anyways, I hope Backyard Chickens to help guide us in this new page in a chapter named "Chickens: Ready or Not, Here They Are"
