HI all, country girl here, who's family all had chickens growing up. I never did but my husband did, and it seemed now that we've moved to a home with a decent amount of land that ducks and chickens would be a great addition to our family, so we are the proud owners, of 6 chicks and 2 ducklings!

I am super proud! This morning when I went out to feed them some mealworms I noticed something white in one of her boxes, so I went to see what it was and noticed it was an egg! I open the lid and she rushed over to show me her creation, she then laid her head on it! It was adorable! I am so excited and happy for her!

I adore the fuss they make over laying eggs! I've never seen them cuddle the eggs before though! How cute ;(
